When a loved one dies, it is generally an extremely stressful time for their families and friends. The grief and stress that often accompanies the death of a loved one can make it difficult to think clearly, and arranging a funeral a confusing and stressful experience.

If your loved one passes away at…
Public or Private Hospital
If your loved one passes away at a hospital, you are required to contact your nominated funeral director, who will in turn contact the hospital, and arrange for the deceased to be transferred into our care.
Nursing Home or Care facility
If your loved one passes away at a nursing home, private hospital or retirement village, the staff at the facility will contact us to arrange for them to be transported into our care. If your loved one passes away outside of business hours, an additional transfer fee will apply. Please contact us for further information.
Home
If your loved one passes away at home under palliative care, you will be required to contact your nominated funeral director. Following certification of the death by a medical professional, we will arrange to transport your loved one into our care.
If your loved one passes away at home unexpectedly, you will be required to call an ambulance, who will advise you of the procedure that needs to be followed.
Public Place
If death occurs in a public place, immediately contact the local police.
