At a time that is convenient for you, we will arrange for one of our professional funeral directors to meet with you, to guide you through the process of arranging your loved one’s funeral service and to make all of the necessary arrangements.
- Online and via phone – There are a few reasons why people are increasingly choosing to arrange their loved one’s funeral service online or via telephone. Organising a funeral service over the phone or online is a simple way to keep funeral costs low, in order to reduce the financial burden on yourself and your family at a difficult time. We will generally meet with you at home, if that is where you feel most comfortable, in order to guide you through the process. Alternatively, we can assist you with funeral arrangements at one of our offices or at a location of your choice.
- Organise to meet at your home to arrange a funeral – This is a legal requirement. We will arrange with you to meet with you at your home, at a time that is convenient to you. We will ask that you provide information required and we will fill out all necessary paperwork. We will then work with you to arrange a suitable funeral for your loved one.
- Come and meet with us at one one of our Arrangement Centres – We have Arrangement Centres conveniently located in Richmond and Brunswick.
Our arranger will provide you with information regarding the options available for your loved one’s funeral arrangements to ensure that their funeral service reflects both your loved one and your wishes, beliefs, values and financial needs. Our professional funeral directors can also offer advice, if necessary, to guide you through the process.
In order to make the process of making funeral arrangements easier for yourself and your family, we offer a range of packages that may be tailored to suit your individual needs.
Public hospitals that do not have mortuary facilities often use sub-contracted funeral directors to remove and store the deceased without any communication with their loved ones. You are under no obligation to arrange your loved one’s funeral service with such a funeral company and have the right to source a funeral company that will provide a service that reflects your wishes and financial considerations. Sub-contracted funeral directors can be very expensive and provide poor service.
Many private hospitals with no mortuary facilities are better administered, and usually ask for funeral director details on admittance.
